Movie review of Fantastic Mr. Fox

Movie review of Fantastic Mr Fox

The movie is about a charming Mr Fox. Who lives with his family under a hill under the tree, along with his friends; Badger who was respectable and well behaved, Rabbit who as so rude and a drunkard and their families. To keep everyone fed, cunning Mr. Fox the hero and a fantastic fellow steal food each and every night from one of the three bumbling, mean farmers. The first farmer was Boggis who was chicken farmer, an enormously fat and a mean man. The second farmer was Bunce who was a duck-and-goose farmer, a pot-bellied dwarf and a nasty man. The third one was Bean who was a turkey and apple farmer, a thin and beastly man. The nasty farmers seek for a revenge and try all sort of strategies to come after Mr. Fox, but they fail because Fantastic Mr. Fox manage to come up with a noble plan. The movie took place at a village in Buckinghamshire, UK. Under the Witches tree that was a large, 150-years-old beech.

The different between the book and the movie is that in the book it is a fantasy and the movie it is so really as there is sound of every action of it and there these song which says “These horrible crooks, so different in looks, but were none the less equally mean.” In the book Mr. Fox used his wife what she prefers to eat and after she told him, he would creep down into the valley in the night and help himself on the farmers. On the movie his wife doesn’t know that his husband is stealing, he always lie to her about business meetings and parties. The book talks about the little Foxes only and not about the nephew as in the movie. On the movie Mr. Fox brought a new house next to the Farmers and the book never mention that and Mr. Fox’s right hand man.

I didn’t like the movie because it teaches children to be nasty and mean, as the farmers were so nasty and mean. They had everything, but they never share with anyone, Boggis was so selfish, he ate three boiled chickens smothered with dumpling every day for breakfast, lunch and supper. Bunce and Bean they were so miserly even to themselves, especially Bean who never ate any food at all. It also promote stealing as Mr. Fox used to steal for a living and he even taught his children and his friends. My favorite part of the movie is during the shooting when Mr. Fox lost his tail, because it taught me that crime doesn’t pay and when you play with fire you get burnt. The part of the movie that least effective is when the farmers start the terrible shovels and tractor to kill Mr. Fox, because they went so far they were not supposed to take it that far and destroy the land.Fantastic Mr. Fox Is a good book for kids and what is great about it is that the story is so really, I mean door row and the hero lost his tail gun shooting and the hero even lost his tail. The movie is so funny and educational,as it teaches kids to be selfish in life like the farmers because you will surfer and never find inner peace.
