Movie review of Fantastic Mr. Fox

Movie review of Fantastic Mr Fox

The movie is about a charming Mr Fox. Who lives with his family under a hill under the tree, along with his friends; Badger who was respectable and well behaved, Rabbit who as so rude and a drunkard and their families. To keep everyone fed, cunning Mr. Fox the hero and a fantastic fellow steal food each and every night from one of the three bumbling, mean farmers. The first farmer was Boggis who was chicken farmer, an enormously fat and a mean man. The second farmer was Bunce who was a duck-and-goose farmer, a pot-bellied dwarf and a nasty man. The third one was Bean who was a turkey and apple farmer, a thin and beastly man. The nasty farmers seek for a revenge and try all sort of strategies to come after Mr. Fox, but they fail because Fantastic Mr. Fox manage to come up with a noble plan. The movie took place at a village in Buckinghamshire, UK. Under the Witches tree that was a large, 150-years-old beech.

The different between the book and the movie is that in the book it is a fantasy and the movie it is so really as there is sound of every action of it and there these song which says “These horrible crooks, so different in looks, but were none the less equally mean.” In the book Mr. Fox used his wife what she prefers to eat and after she told him, he would creep down into the valley in the night and help himself on the farmers. On the movie his wife doesn’t know that his husband is stealing, he always lie to her about business meetings and parties. The book talks about the little Foxes only and not about the nephew as in the movie. On the movie Mr. Fox brought a new house next to the Farmers and the book never mention that and Mr. Fox’s right hand man.

I didn’t like the movie because it teaches children to be nasty and mean, as the farmers were so nasty and mean. They had everything, but they never share with anyone, Boggis was so selfish, he ate three boiled chickens smothered with dumpling every day for breakfast, lunch and supper. Bunce and Bean they were so miserly even to themselves, especially Bean who never ate any food at all. It also promote stealing as Mr. Fox used to steal for a living and he even taught his children and his friends. My favorite part of the movie is during the shooting when Mr. Fox lost his tail, because it taught me that crime doesn’t pay and when you play with fire you get burnt. The part of the movie that least effective is when the farmers start the terrible shovels and tractor to kill Mr. Fox, because they went so far they were not supposed to take it that far and destroy the land.Fantastic Mr. Fox Is a good book for kids and what is great about it is that the story is so really, I mean door row and the hero lost his tail gun shooting and the hero even lost his tail. The movie is so funny and educational,as it teaches kids to be selfish in life like the farmers because you will surfer and never find inner peace.

My final year at Chief SW Nhlapho secondary school in Dundonald, in Mpumalanga.

My school is situated in a rural area called Dundonald, where there are big mountains, beautiful rivers, forest and wild. Dundonald is a very good place to live in, because life is not expensive there, people are making their own food by planting crops and doing farming. Chief SW Nhlapho secondary school is named after the chief of the place and it is situated next to a post office and a taxi rank. The school was established in 1994 when Nelson Madela became the first black president in South Africa and that’s the reason why some people call it Madela. What I like about my former school is that it is one of the best schools in Dundonald circuit and that it is using parallel medium instruction.

I matriculated in 2014 at Chief SW Nhlapho secondary school and  was doing the following subject; Afrikaans, English, Geography, life Orientation, life science, mathematics, physical science and siSwati. My favourite subject was Life science, because it is all about the functioning of each part of our body and about human evolution. My last year at school was the best year ever and all thanks to the good teachers who made it happen for me and my fellow mates who were so good to me.

Even though my school is located in a rural area, they had access to technology. The teachers were using projector during our lessons on giving us more information and in case of an emergency they were using their cell phones. At my school we had no library and computers, whenever we wanted to use a computer we had to go to Phumalanga Youth Development Centre. When we were writing our final year exams one of the best learners had won computers for the school from maths Olympiad competition. I’m so proud of being a product of Chief SW Nhlapho secondary school and I wish for it to continue moving forward with excellency.

My teaching philosophy

An intellectual teacher brings the best out of a child, no matter the situation of a child is.I'm going to be that teacher who will make thoughtful, caring decisions and reach beyond the limitations and constrains of my own background and my current circumstance to consider alternative interpretations and possibilities.I will constantly make decisions and formulate ideas about educational goals, practices and outcomes.

My purpose as a foundation phase teacher is to guide and enlighten my fellow learners to develop with regards to any aspect in life. This ability for guidance can only comes through two ’E’s.Expertise and experience, which are closely linked to each other. With the absence of expertise teacher will not be able to showcase his or her students what is to be done so that they  are walking in the right path or progress and such expertise can only come through experience.

I’ll be a pedagogical content knowledge teacher who will have a good understanding of  which methods are most appropriate for teaching specific content, also have a through understanding of the misconceptions learner typically hold on specific and address these in my teaching.I will apply a caring pedagogy as it would help me as a teacher to respond outside of my usual and practiced ways of knowing and being in the world and the classroom. It can guide me to find my own voice on issue of social justice in teaching curricula and my learners with their learning material.I see this as a trans formative approach to teaching and learning that challenge the routine of automatic acceptance of traditional roles of a teacher and learner. It can break the routine of the traditionally accepted curriculum and offer you and your learners greater  autonomy loy of defining how learning is related to issues that affect lives, including the lives of marginalized groups in society.

The roles of a learner in the teaching and learning is to strive to comply with all behavior expectation, behavioral expectation that are verbally outline and posted as part of the classroom management plan should be incorporated into each child’s daily routine and life skill Set.It is imperative that students strive to comply with all academic expectation in the classroom, this is not only for the benefit of the individual student, but also for the benefit of the entire class.Students must show respect for themselves and others, this is the most vital thing a student can do to contribute to a quality learning environment and reducing disciplinary distraction. Being late to class can course a major distraction to all student in class and negatively impact the academic progress of the student who is tardy

My role as a teacher is to be sensitive to the diverse needs of my learner, and i must have the ability to construct appropriateness and demonstrate sound knowledge.I will do as am expected to do as a teacher to understand and interpret existing learning programs and to manage my classroom activities, carry out administrative duties and participate in school structures.I will conduct researches about every change in the process of learning and teaching and lead by a good example.Being well grounded in knowing skills, values, principles, methods and procedures reverent to my field is important.

As a teacher, ethical values must be appropriate and respected all the time, for example teaching good and ethics and apply them in every situation is a must.Focusing on developing set values in each teacher and student based on hard work diligence is very important. If individuals are not ethical,i would focus more on action and what caused them rather on the results. As a leader i’am required to possess ability to communicate, motivate, delegate to people in a meaningful ways.Working with families requires additional skills in audience sensitivity and public relationship, and working with children needs patience,as it a mother of success to teach them ethics.Teacher effectiveness is important for school and children success and is highly connected to student growth in learning.I will try by al means to be an effective teacher, by supervise, observe appraisal ,and also mentor and coach the children. The way to prove teacher effectiveness is to  provide them with support, mentoring and couching.

I choose teaching as a career because education is the key to success, in order to be successful in life we need it,that why we have to respect and protect it.I will be an expert teacher, who always keep things professional both in school and community for the better future in education.
